my diet's going great. and then albert ( my adopted Korean Brother and my brother's bestest friend) decides to bring the largest burrito i have ever seen in my life. yeah, it looks like an ordinary burrito.
but compare it to a human hand and a knife...
i know right? Geez. there were 7 of us there, and i think that we were so startled at the size of the damn thing that we all had too much anxiety to finish it. hahha. we literally ate 1/4 of it.


i really miss maui. i miss it a lot. still, there's no place like home ( sorry i'm still on my Wicked phase) i'm so addicted to it. i bought the soundtrack and have been bumping that in my coche.

summer's been good, but i have been soooooo bored lately. so this evening, i dumped out all of my makeup, cut out magazines and placed them on the bottom of my makeup boxes, in order to further keep the cleanliness of the boxes, and reorganized them both.

eyeshadows, bronzer, blush, primer, lashes, and eyeliners here more eyeshadows, bobby pins, lipsticks, gloss, mascara, curlers, and make-up remover here.

i am extremely dark. my girlfriends said, " for a girl who hates being dark, you sure do tan a lot." i can't help it. i want to be even all over, so in my attempt to tan just my legs- i fail. miserably. i can't help it! my skin absorbs the sun like a thirsty sponge. but damn. pale people would kill for my color.

Rocko is getting bigger by the day. he's limping because of his growing pains still, but still the sweetest dog ever. i went over to -----'s and he was so happy to see me that he scratched my leg up. so not only do i have an unusually peculiar amount of bug bites on my legs, but a two inch scratch as well. i also watched Apocalypto. i liked it. i won't watch it again because of all the gore and ickiness, but overall a job well done by mr. gibson.

so on the first day of summer my crazy friends and i decided to bare it all and swim our asses off. we all liked to jump and take pictures, and pose and take pictures.

i especially like taking pictures. fun fun fun in the sun sun sun. the agenda tomorrow: work out, tan ( in my case get grey) and get a gosh darn J-O-B.

wow. i can't believe my brother graduated high school. time's going so fast, i tell you. the ceremony was no different than any other graduation (besides tibo and throw up), but geez the fireworks and fire show was spectacular.

My little baby Rocko has had a really bad limp for a good while. the vet said it's growing pains, but i'm really starting to worry because he's really lethargic, which is most likely due to the fact that he is in real pain. please pray for him. he's the cutest and best dog there could ever be in the whole wide world.
so, in other news, i didn't know people actually read my blogspot! but people do and it makes me happy. sorry i haven't answered some of the questions on diana_blogspot@yahoo.com, but here goes.

Q: Why did you take your chatterbox down?
A: Because there are some people that like to rain on my parade. and i don't need people to do that. they fiddle around in other individual's happy lives and want to shadow it with the sadness of their own. the comments that a specific person wrote as "anonymous" were cowardly as they were insulting and it just got out of control. i really began to lose my temper. and i'm not an angry person, so i just removed the problem from the source.

Q: How is your diet going? and What exercises do you do?
A: my diet is goin well thanks! i have been eating lots and lots of green leafy vegetables and limited amount of carbs. i cannot live without my white rice, so i just limit it to 1/4 cup for lunch and dinner. i stack up on healthy carbs in the morning (oatmeal, special k, etc.)and eat small meals during the day. the exercises that I've been doing are boot camp workouts. 12different exercises done in sets of three with 45 second intervals. works your whole body fast fun and easily. i also dance til my shins burn and attempt to jog or power walk.

Q: Do you take vitamins?
A: yessum i do. i take a womens one a day, fish oil, vitamin c, and calcium. when you're cutting calories and excercising, vitamins are uber important to keep your nutrients, energy, and strength in check.

Q: Are you going to post more makeup tutorials?
A: i want to do a bright bold blue, and gold. things a lotta more risque and extravagant. so yes. i also plan on doing a big big hair tutorial, as well as a victoria Beckham bob haircut tutorial.

Q: Where did you go to school for cosmetology?
A: i actually didn't. i am a self-taught hair stylist and makeup artist. i did a lot of experimentation in my younger years with my curiosity sparking at about the age of 10. i wanted to go to a cosmetology school right after highschool, but my Asian, by the book parents did not see that as a fit form of education ( even though it totally is, when you have a gift) so i did what they want and went to regular college.

Q:Where do you shop?
A: ha. where do i begin. H&M, Ross, Buffalo exchange, footsies, thrift stores, nordstrom, kohls, Forever 21. anything that catches my eye, i will buy.

Q: What about sunglasses?
A.: i love Venice Beach, thrift stores for one of a kind shades that you can't find anywhere, target, Urban outfitters, anything that frames my face right.

Maui maui wowee

just when i thought life couldn't get any better, i spend a week in paradise. Maui is so amazing! the mix of different cultures and people in one vicinity of unsurpassed beauty is inspiring. oh. and the fooood man- (!)un-be-freakin-lieveable. i ate so much in a week i gained 10 pounds but damn... i'm not even mad. i love the ------- family, they are a real blessing in my life and gave me a great opportunity and allowed me to take a peek into their life. i love watching and listening to the locals show their Aloha Spirit and speak Pigeon, respectively. and i really enjoyed the trip to one of the spots you need to see and appreciate before you die. i really missed my family there. :( i swear to God though, the insects decided to come together and bite every section of my body. so if you ever go, please bring bug spray.

She's such a beautiful friend and i'm so ecstatic that she let me in to a very personal portion of her life. This picture was taken at Iao Valley. so pretty and historically interesting.

Stopped by a beach on our way to Hana. this was seriously beautiful . i saw God's work at His best. the calm and serenity as well as the intensity and fury of the water was wonderous to feel, smell, and see.

makeup application #2 smokey eye tutorial

so i know it took me a long time to get this up, but it's finally here.

Smokey eye tutorial.

enjoy! hope it's helpful! here's my model gail. she's beautiful without makeup, but she wanted something a little more dramatic for the evening. (i.e. clubbin)

1. ) Start with a clean face. it's very important to start with a fresh face that's been moisturized for at least ten minutes

2. you can either apply with foundation and powder already set or apply the eye first. if powder is already set, apply baby powder under the eyes to catch any eyeshadow residue. Apply an eyeshadow base to intensify the color and to have it stay put all night. then brush on a champagne colored eyeshadow all over the eyelid to the browbone (MAC in "Retrospeck").

3. I used a shimmery black shadow (ULTA eye shadow in "Galaxy") applied it to the outer corner of the eye and followed her crease stopping a little past the middle of the eyelid. Repeat on other lid.

4. i then used a silver shimmery shadow (Revlon's "Platinum Play Thing") and began to blend blend blend! Start in the inner corner of the eye and in a circular motion blend toward the center of the eye and along the crease.

5. Now you have a very harsh black line that we need to get rid of. grab a shimmery champagne colored or white shadow (MAC "Honeylust") and brush it along the brow bone. Now take your brush starting at the browbone and push the light shadow into the crease slightly easing the separation and having the shadows blend.

6. This is what Gail got. To finish up, groom eyebrows (Benefit "BrowZing") apply a natural flush with bronzer or blush (MaryKate and Ashley bronzer) and nude lips.

There you go miss thang! This look is very dramatic, and there are ways to lessen the intensity of the smokey eye for an everyday look that literally takes only 5 minutes.

i wanted to write about him because i was watching an episode of Celebrity Fit Club on VH1 and i just sat there in amazement on the kind of roads that people take. he's so freakin disgusting and awful now. he makes fun of retarded kids in his stand up ( which i read isn't even funny, just pitiful.) and actually performed the "Dirty Sanchez" in the porno that supposedly got out from an anonymous source.

if you don't know

Dirty Sanchez (also called the filthy Sanchez) is a term used to describe the sexual practice of smearing fecal matter under the nose of the giving partner in the form of a mustache during oral sex usually accomplished by inserting a finger or penis into one's anus and wiping the material gathered onto the upper lip of one's partner.

can you believe it? i mean come on, how disgusting is that.

so dustin diamond, you make me sick. how is it possible for someone who played such an innocent role ruin his image with bad stunt after bad stunt. how can you disrespect women like that (yeah the girls are to be blamed also, because they let him rub their own feces on their face)

Berfday update

probably the best birthday ever. It was a three day extravaganza filled with lots and lots of good food, great people and an endless amount of liquor. I won't be drinking for a while, especially after this weekend.

Thursday: supposed to be a dinner with the douche. he came to the casa and presented me with the sweetest card ( i love cards) and gift. the summer blockbuster pallate from sephora.

He actually planned a surprise party at the Elephant Bar in Lakewood. After the festivites, we all needed to dance dance drank. and we did at the regular spot-v2o.
