Sean Gutierrez and Diana b. have announced that they are now boyfriend and girlfriend, respectively.


i honestly couldn't be happier! Geez Louise! ohmigosh, i am with such a wonderful person! so now, lemme tell you about his cute little 'proposal' .

we were at a Fistful of Steel concert (who is a Rage against the machine cover band; which isn't really my personal forte or choice of music, but still interesting to watch and listen to) and we were watching one of the opening acts. so i turn around and hassle him about something that the two of us only know about, and he asks me to be his girlfriend. :)

of course i said yes. why wouldn't i?

i'm ecstatic. he's amazing.

okay, so who am i kidding, really. he schooled me in basketball. think about it. i'm 5'3, he's 6'1. my arm span is about 4 and a half feet, his-6'3 . his legs are ridiculously long, and i was blessed with thick tree trunk calves. he's a man's man, and i'm a 'dainty' girl.

i'm sore. i sat in a hot shower for 20 minutes to relax my muscles. my back hurts and my legs are tight-probably from really good defense that i do. i was really trying- like sweating like a hooker in church. and then i got tired and dizzy from a)complete physical inactivity, b) not eating anything the entire day, c) not playing basketball since the 8th grade and d) wearing tight jean pants to workout in.

i suck at layups. i have no finesse. i double dribble and travel way too much (but sean still lets me shoot, because he loves me ) i can't run if my life depended on it, and i have the most awkward 3 point shot ever.

but other than that, it was an awesomely fun, active, bonding, romantic moment with the baddest 'white boy' there is...

maybe it's the rugged sultry esque features that is a resemblance, or the piercing blue eyes, or maybe, just maybe, the perfect noses and the luscious lips that makes them look alike to me...so he's missing the butt chin. whatevs. in my eyes, sean's perfection and the most handsome man on the face of this f-in planet.

seriously, i am so gifted by all the wonderful people in my life. if i hadn't said it before, i thank you all for your presence. i wouldn't be me without you.

i swear...

i can be so terribly dramatic and difficult at times.

and i tend to take it out on those that love me the most. which raises the question of why i do hurtful actions and say hurtful things.

because i can? because i'm afraid of getting hurt (again), because i'm a horrible person?

whatever the reasoning is behind it, it's just an ugly trait. and i'm going to try really hard to not do that again.

In other [and better] news, i just finished up 6 chapters for my Soc inquiry class, and i feel soo damn smart. i can teach this madness, i tell you.

well, that's just about enough time for that well needed break, gotta take some practice quizzes so i can pwn tomorrow's midterm. wish me luck...

i swear, i love Halloween- it's the one day out of the year where you can be an absolute whore for a night and not be judged (as harshly). it was goood times. i love love loved this year especially.
