Fall BACK.

Oh the weather outside is AMAZING! I am truly in ecstasy at the moment, the breeze, the early setting of the sun, and the sudden chill of Mother Nature taking its course in the fabulous changing of the seasons gets me giddy as can be. With the weather change comes the fashion, and with the fashion comes my yearly post of the introduction to wonderfully extravagant autumn wear, accessories and beauty. This season is absolutely filled with masculine femininity with a hint of dainty rock severity.

Clothing necessities:

Black super tight mini
Goes with everything and everything. From oversized men’s plaid to stockings with mega heels, it is a fall staple that can be easily paired to look chic, fresh, and absolutely breathtaking.

Oversized cardigans:

Oh how I love walking into a store where there are rows and rows of beautifully made oversized cardigans. I swear that is when I know Fall is here! As much as I love the structure and fierceness of blazers and coats, a nice snug woven piece of knitwear makes me feel all warm and cuddly. It is the epitome of chic comfort.

Plaid prints I promise you it doesn’t matter if it’s a men’s plaid shirt, or one skintight shirt, plaid is going to be seen everywhere.

A plain white v-neck: These are fun, very versatile and comfortable, and it’s ridiculously easy to wear this with anything. From jeans to that skin tight black miniskirt that we previously talked about, it’s a definite classically cool top to wear with just about anything.

Tights: I tell you this is one item of clothing that I will wear at the very least once a week. My personal favorite, made especially for the fashionista on a budget is American Apparel Lame’ Leggings.

Footwear:

Slouch boots
: Give me a pair of rounded toe slouch boots and I will wear it with literally everything I have previously laundered or newly bought!

Patent Oxford: flat or heeled, these are a fashionista’s dream! I love how tactful and surprisingly versatile they are. I cannot wait to wear these!

Motorcycle/Riding boots: Once again, the rugged feminism is subtly brought out once again with these fantastically tough boots. I hope to receive a pair from my boyfriend on our anniversary!
Extremely high heels: There is nothing sexier than longer than lengthy legs in higher than skyscraper heels. The thicker the sole, the higher the heel, and the more unique the shoe can do no wrong in my eyes. And don’t throw those gladiator sandals in the back of your closet just yet; it can always be incorporated back into fall with a great pair of opaque tights.

The ankle bootie has made its return with a vengeance. From rocker chic to understated wild child, this fall staple should be seen in a closet near you.

Purses:

Multi-strapped purses: When you get tired of gripping your purse from a short strap you can always bring out the long strap from these unbelievably versatile purses.

Gray purses:
so they say they gray is the new black. However, nothing will ever take over black’s power and chicness. Gray on purses however, is a different story. It adds a beautiful sophistication with any outfit.

Beauty:

Heavy eyeliner
: Straying away from last year’s cat-eye liner, this season brings it slightly back with an emo punk flair. Full on black eyeliner has been seen on practically every runway show this season. From super thick to mega fierce, it’s an easy, practical and extremely sultry look to try. Use pencil or liquid liner and wispily trace your eye, adding on until the intensity is just right. Keep the rest of your face uber natural to avoid going overboard- unless you want to!

Deep wine colored lips with chartreuse eyes: Oh I do believe that this pairing is immaculate! When I saw this duo on the new MAC “Cult of Cherry” collection, my jaw dropped. I love how different it is and how perfectly matched these two odd colors work together. It’s definitely doable for daytime to night transition without looking way over the top.

Accessories:

Bold
is an understatement when it comes to fall accessories. Layered necklaces is going to be huge all thanks to Givenchy’s Fall 2008 ready to wear runway show, where the models walked out with layers and layers of beautiful (and expensive) gold necklaces. It’s quite an easy look to recreate by just using your own pizzazz and flair. Just keep other accessories at a minimum.

Bracelets
:

Organic and nature-like bracelets add an element to your wardrobe that truly incorporates Fall into your style. Handmade, structured bangles such as Lucite should be a part of every woman’s daywear and stacked for an incredible night time transition.

ugh

i never realized that i could be such an absolute lunatic. especially to the one man who has done nothing wrong. i keep reverting back to my anger and frustration with my past and stringing it along my present relationship. i feel like i look for flaws in sean, and when i find one i magnify it with unimaginable strength. those flaws that sean owns makes him human... he isn't perfect, and i love him for it.

i am going to work on my attitude. i need to be more supportive rather than critical, appreciative rather than expectant, and most importantly... i need to be patient.

why would i push away the one relationship in my life that makes sense?
