Reverse eyeliner trick.

my friennies and i will be heading to our annual vegas trip in April, and i've been clipping, pasting, and literally searching for fashion and beauty inspiration for sin city. last year was an amazing trip, but this year will be insane. i can feeeeeel it.

i absolutely love this look.

rihanna's make up artist busted a good one experimenting with this particular trend. instead of putting emphasis on the top of your lid, they add extra definition to the bottom.



1st step:

use a flat brush to apply black shadow. wet the brush to make it a little more vivid. apply black shadow along and slightly below the lower lash line. extend it out and up. (or up and out)

2nd step:
trace just inside the bottom lash line with black eye pencil (dark blue or brown works well too) finish with 3 coats of mascra or falsies for more effect!

was a while ago. sorry for the late posting, but three finals in one day is a bit overwhelming, even for me. there were 8 girls on a mission for good food. we did damage. our bill came to a whopping 400 + ... well worth it for the 3 course meal that we all demolished and wine that i savored to the very. last. drop.

i'm sick, again.

stuffy nose, coughing, headache. all before writing a 2200 word sociological analysis on sex and the city. GREEEAAT. i'm not at all excited. i kind of want to take a nap before i start the stupid thing. i don't even really know what i'm supposed to write about. i really should stop whining and just do it, i have until three o'clock to write it. here's what i wore for school:

this was an exceptional week. i missed a lot of school, but bleh. my grades are good, so i'm not trippin. these classes are all for the soc part of my major, and don't really play a factor on whether or not i'm gonna be hitting my graduation date on time. i'm stressed out though, 2 papers down 1 more to go. that's gonna be fun. before i start my research rendezvous, here's some of my good times.

anniversary:
sean was so sweet and handsome. he wore this sickk suit and looked absolutely scrumptious. he greeted me with my favorite flowers (sunflowers) and talked to my parents, asking for permission to go out for the evening. he knows that i love my steak, so he took us to an all-you-can- eat brazilian buffet. uh, it was heaven. seriously, the service was great and the food was absolutely decadent. the restaurant is located in irvine/costa mesa, and is called agora churrascaria. i loved it.

then we watched twilight and snuck in a bottle of white wine from fresh n' easy. the movie was okay, but the real reason why it was so good was because of robert pattinson as edward cullen. haha. plus, it made me realize that i live my very own fantasy movie with my wonderful boyfriend. i know, so cheese.

at midnight (we had to celebrate our anniversary the day before because of thanksgiving) we exchanged cards and gifts. i got him clothes (nothing too creative) and a shaver that didn't work as well as it was priced.








gray nailpolish is cute, channeling my inner kate lanphear, and forever 21 accessories are cheapo. (look at the ring that i have on, it's missing a pearl. ahha)

he also got me my favorite chocolate (lindt truffles). he really listened to me, and thought about his presents for me. he's amazing, and i'm so fortunate to have such an unbelievably wonderful boyfriend. and big news, my father already gave me his blessings to marry sean. he told me that he was the nicest boy that i've ever brought home, and that he actually likes him. mama and tibo like him too, and so does nay... he's basically in with the fam and i'm so happy for that. they're pretty tough critics. pops wants to get sean a job at arco, because he's going to be an electrical engineer, like my dad. he's just waiting for sean to get his degree. and so am i, so that we can finally tie the knot. :)
