so chic, so fun, and so hip. it's a fun little melting pot of Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren (pre- tanning, bad face-lift, and age), and Carrie Bradshaw.
Dear Lord,
Please help me get off my ass and run again so i lose my happy weight and be very very sad, sore, hungry, but skinny.

inked again.
yet another tattoo (and still counting)
i am very proud of my nationality, and i love the fact that i am a Filipino woman living in the United States, attempting to do things out of the norm (cough: nursing). i am strong. i am filled to the brink with vigor. i endure and i last through tough times, and i have been through quite a lot in my existence. now, i definitely understand that i am quite lucky to have gone though situations that merely skim the level of superficiality comparable to others, but the more serious offenses and circumstances that have happened to me, have only added to the betterment of my personality, heart, patience, and character as a whole. these occurrences have definitely become the building blocks of a woman who will stop at nothing and will be better, no matter what.
this tattoo, to me, symbolizes every ounce of pain that has stuck its ugly little head in my life. it is not only a word that means "stronger" in tagalog, it is my own personal empowerment, for every day i attain a different strength and a different goal for this one of a kind life. this tattoo is my thanks to God, my family, friends, and bf, for giving me the encouragement and fortitude to live my life everyday with no regrets. this tattoo and its pain is symbolic of the tears i've shed only to blossom into something so incredibly deep and beautiful in its aesthetics. this tattoo gives me courage, and reminds me of the resilience and the grit that i have carried with me throughout my difficult past, and will carry with me throughout the rest of my life.
